    Abstract: 所有的藝術作為都是人類的精神產物,要充分、自由地抒發人類的性靈,表達情感,必須擺脫「模仿」與「形似」階段的束縛,藝術創作才能獲得更大的自由。而能突破以往陳舊繪畫形式,帶給繪畫性靈解放的是中國的寫意繪畫和西方表現主義繪畫,這讓美術創作有了新轉折。但將二者相提並論的不多,一般認為它們是東、西方兩種截然不同的繪畫。本文,用比較學方法將兩種繪畫,就本質上做一彼此間的聯繫和區別分析。文中述及東、西方繪畫相互間的影響,西方表現主義繪畫與中國寫意繪畫幾乎如出一轍,均強調精神與情感表現的事實。最後,藝術的風格不過是人的性格,只要人不消失,藝術會一如既往地繼續探索和發展下去。
