    Abstract: 新竹市升格省轄市民族音樂欣賞會中什音的演出記錄，由呂炳川老師紀錄中而得知。南管樂器依照古制，分上四管、下四管。上四管有琵琶、洞簫、二弦、三弦和拍板；下四管指響盞、四塊、雙鐘、叫鑼。上四管及下四管，再加上噯玉（小嗩吶）和上四管原有的拍板，合奏時叫做「什音」。在台灣民間常見到的演奏，以上四管為多，只有大型場面，才容易見到什音演奏。
