    摘要: 　　本研究以嘉義縣大林鎮明華社區為研究標的，採以明華社會為個案之個案研究法及半結構式深度訪談法，訪問了自民國96年社區營造伊始之社區發展協會成員、社區達人、義工媽媽，希期瞭解此一青年人口外移、社區人口老化、產業凋零之農業社區，何透過社區營造，重新再出發，並以低碳、環保為訴求，成功動員了大批義工，成為今日台灣之明星社區，且以逐年不斷向上攀升之近三百輛之遊覽車，成為南部極具指標性之休閒、旅遊標的，並為產業已趨凋零之明華社區，帶來休閒商機及社區之光榮感。　　　茲得到研究成果，亦即其社區營造成功之因素及成果，共有三項:一、全面性縮短城鄉差距及降低社會M型化。二、為社區找到未來性。三、無私而具胸襟之領導人。　　　至於本研究之研究建議則有兩項，亦提出予有關部門及學界參考：一、公部門對社區營造之主動性有待加強。二、公部門應加強與社區間之溝通。
    　　The research is a case study about Minghua Community Dalin Township, Chiayi County. With semi-structured depth interview to the members of the community development association, we try to understand the migration of youth generation, community aging population and the decay of this farming community. Through community construction and with the requirements of low carbon and environmental protection, The Community has successfully recruited a large number of volunteers and become an outstanding example. Moreover, the unceasingly rising of nearly three hundred tourists a year coaches which have become the southern extremely indexes of leisure and tourism mark, and bring honor and leisure business opportunities to the withering Minghua community.　　 　　The research results are the followings: First, the constructions shorten the gap between urban and rural areas and reduce the tendency of M type society. Second, they found the future of the community. Third, the community leader must have a selfless and broad-minded.　　　Also, there are two suggestions: First, the initiative of the public departments to the community construction needs to be strengthened. Second, public departments should strengthen in communication with the community.
