    摘要:   本研究旨在探討幼兒園幼兒實施品德教育課程概況以及實施之成效,以「誠實」、「信任」、「善念」、「感恩」、「吃苦」等五項品德教學核心能力為教育主軸,採一般教學法,如:故事導讀、角色扮演、戲劇表演及兩難困境討論進行教學,並以評量法及訪談法為蒐集方法,以雲林縣沿海地區一所私立幼兒園,共105位幼兒為研究對象,進行每二週一次,每次20分鐘,為期一學年的品德教學。   本研究工具為「幼兒品德評量表」,於品德教育教學前、後對幼兒進行評量,所得資料採量化處理,進行統計資料分析,探討幼兒實施品德教育課程在教學後品德能力是否有提升,並瞭解不同背景(性別、班別)幼兒品德能力之表現差異情形,以及分析幼兒品德能力表現在教學後五項品德之相關情形;最後再以質性方式進行教師訪談並記錄教師省思與心得感想。本研究之研究結果如下:一、幼兒品德能力在教學後均有提升。二、幼兒品德能力在性別上無顯著差異;在班別上有顯著差異:教學後優於教學前。三、幼兒五項品德能力(誠實、信任、善念、感恩、吃苦)呈現正相關。
      This study aims at finding out the general situation of character education curriculum implemented in kindergartens and the effectiveness of implementation. With the five core capabilities of character education - “honesty”, “trust”, “kindness”, “thankfulness” and “endurance” – as the focuses of learning, general teaching methods were adopted, for example, guided story reading, role playing, drama performance and dilemma discussion, and data were collected by means of evaluation and interview. A total of 105 young children in a private kindergarten in the coastal area of Yunlin County were chosen as the subjects of the study. Character education was delivered once every two weeks in one academic year, and 20 minutes per session.   The “Character Scale for Young Children” was used as the research tool, and evaluation on the young children was done before and after the character education. The data collected were processed quantitatively for statistical analysis, to find out if young children’s character capabilities improve after the implementation of the character education program, and to understand the differences in character capabilities of young children with different background (sex, grade), as well as to analyze the situation relating to young children’s performance in character capabilities after learning the five character values. Finally, qualitative study was conducted by means of interview with the teachers and by recording the teachers’ reflection and thoughts. Research results of this study are:1. Young children’s character capabilities improved after the teaching.2. No significant difference on young children’s character capabilities was shown in sex, while significant difference was shown in grade: better results after teaching than before.3. The five character capabilities (honesty, trust, kindness, thankfulness, endurance) show positive correlation in young children.
