    Abstract:   本研究旨在了解無男丁家庭對祭祀傳承的安排、財產的分配、年老生活規劃、心理調適及生命意義。   本研究採深度訪談的質性方法,訪談六位無男丁家庭,藉由分享他們的生命故事,理解到他們成長的年代、家族中排行的壓力、配偶的支持與勇於突破傳統觀念的歷程。   根據研究所獲得的結論有:一、理念的改變。二、祖先牌位及祭祀的安排。三、經濟自主與健康的身體。四、年老的生活規劃。五、沒有遺憾、令人稱羨。   依研究結論:從教育改變民情風俗、倡導落實性別平等政策、對政府社會福利的建議、及未來研究者,提出建議以供參考。
      This study is looking to understand families with no male heir in the regards of ancestral rites, appropriation of heirloom, plans for senior living, mental adjustment, and meaning of life.   This study utilized in depth interviews with six families that have no male heir in the family. Through their life stories we can understand the generation they grew up in, the pressure from within the family, the support from their marriage, and the experience of not fulfilling the Chinese expectation of a family.   Through the research we see the families go through a process:1. Change in philosophy.2. Arrangement of ancestral ceremonies. 3. Financial independence and health. 4. Planning for senior living,.5. No regrets people’s admiration.   Conclusions based on the study: Change cultural values through education, advocate male and female equality, Government social welfare, some advice for improvements in the future.
