生命禮儀是一種文化的產物,有其歷史淵源及發展脈絡,傳統的撿骨習俗隨著社會的變遷,火葬比率的攀升而逐漸被忽視與遺忘。為這群長期被視為邊陲職業,帶有神秘色彩的撿骨專業人員,留下具有學術研究性質的歷史資料,成為當務之急。 本論文研究主題為專業撿骨師之生命經驗,以四位具備20年以上工作經驗之撿骨師為研究參與者,透過深度訪談法取得文本資料,試圖從參與者的自我陳述中,了解其入行原因及學習撿骨之心路歷程,進而探討撿骨師的人格特質,以及撿骨工作對其死亡觀念與生命觀的影響,並嘗試了解撿骨工作對撿骨師人際關係的影響及其因應之道。 根據研究所獲得的結論有:一、撿骨是一種看不見未來的行業。二、撿骨師本著良心守著倫理從事撿骨工作。三、人際關係疏離。四、看遍死亡學會活著。五、使命對撿骨工作有著重大影響。六、暫無推動證照制度必要。 The funeral ceremony is a product of culture with an historical origin and development context. With social changes and the increasing rate of cremation, the traditional bone collecting custom is being gradually ignored and forgotten. The bone collectors who are regarded as mysterious and minorities in society left historical data for academic study, which has become a priority for now. This paper studies the life experience of the bone collectors, selecting four bone collectors with over 20 years of experience as the research subjects. The data were obtained through an in-depth interview method. It attempts to understand their reasons for choosing the occupation and learning about the bone collecting process as narrated and discussed by the said subjects themselves. It also discusses the common characteristics of the bone collectors and the effect of their work on their interpersonal relationships and their views about life and death. According to the conclusions obtained from the study: 1. Being a bone collector is an occupation with no future. 2. Bone pickup masters work in accordance with their conscience and moral beliefs. 3. Their interpersonal relationships are alienated. 4. They learn to live after being made aware of death all the time as a result of their occupation. 5. The mission has a significant effect on the bone collecting work. 6. There is no need to establish a license issuing system for the bone collectors.
