摘要: | 從2002年起,外籍配偶子女進入國小就讀的人數逐年增加,而這些外籍配偶子女在學習表現上大都比本國籍學生低落。由於這些外籍配偶子女將來都是國家的主人翁,因此,如何改善這些外籍配偶子女學習低落情形值得重視。 本研究以八位成績優異的外籍配偶子女為研究對象,採質性研究,對外籍配偶家庭子女家長及導師進行訪談,借取「社會資本論」(Social capital theory)中家庭社會資本(Family social capital)的視角,從外籍配偶子女家長的教育觀、親子關係及親師關係三方面,來探討影響外籍配偶家庭子女學業成績優異的原因。 本研究結果如下:(一)家長正向的教育觀有助於小孩課業學習:家長對小孩的教育期望要有所期待,對子女課業成績不要刻意要求,且多以正向、鼓勵方式來代替責罰,不要給予小孩學習上壓力,在小孩課業學習上給予的適時的關懷與協助。(二)親子間良好互動是增進小孩課業學習的動能:課餘時間家長與子女互動越頻繁,家長與子女的情感就越好,家庭氣氛越好,家長就能更了解子女在校表現,家長能撥空陪伴小孩讀書、做功課,會讓小孩感受家長的關愛,除了可以增進親子關係外,同時也會讓小孩在課業的學習上有認真的動力。(三)親師關係的建立能夠排除小孩在課業學習的阻力:家長與導師間適時的溝通聯絡對學生在課業學習上可以提供適時提供協助、排除阻力。 最後,根據本研究結果,就家長、學校老師及後續研究者提出建議。 Since 2002, elementary school children of foreign spouses are increasing every year. The children of foreign spouses perform worse than the students of major ethnicity backgrounds in the academic area. Since they will be the masters of the country in the future, it is significant to improve these children of foreign spouses’ academic performance. I did the qualitative research on eight outstanding children of foreign spouses in academic performance. Children of foreign spouses, parents and instructors were interviewed. Data are analyzed from the social capital theory perspective, parents’ ideas of education, parent-child relationship, and teacher-parent relationship in order to explore the reasons that influence their academic performance. The results are as follows: (A) parents’ positive view of education in academic learning: parents must show the educational expectations to their children, do not force the academic achievement of their children, but using a more positive, encouraging way to replace punishments, do not give children learning pressure, but to give timely care and assistance of academic learning to children. (B) Good interaction between parents and children is the energy of kinetic learning: frequent interaction between parents and children after school hours will promote positive feelings, and better family atmosphere, so parents will be able to better understand their children’s performance in school. If parents can allocated more time to accompany their kids study or do their homework, it will make children feel the care of parents; by doing so, not only will enhancing parent-child relationship, but also the child will have a serious academic study power. (C) The establishment of the relationship between parents and teachers can help parents rule out the resistance of children’s academic study: the timely communication between parents and teachers can provide the academic learning assistance of students timely and help to remove obstacles. Finally, according to the research of this study, I offer some suggestions for parents, school teachers and on the follow-up studies. |
