Sukyo Mahikari which was founded by Yoshikazu Okada on February 27, 1959, believes in God of true light, or Su God for short. It's one of the new religions. This study explored the reason and influence why believers participate in the Sukyo Mahikari, and how they practice their teachings in life, as well as the belief affects their lives. In this case study was conducted by interviewing 9 believers in Taiwan. The results of interview found three reasons: One is to experience the true light of God, the second is recommended by relatives and friends, the third is the publication "Sunshine Life". Believers are willing to convert faith to the Sukyo Mahikari, the reason can be divided into people and things: Some believers in order to someone they cherish, and want to help them. Some others in order to pursue the purpose of life, and to find the spiritual level of sustenance, so participate in the Sukyo Mahikari.
