| 摘要: | 校園之主體，就在於「人」這「生命主體」上，而教育裡面的「人」其任務在繼往開來、奮發上遂，傳承文化生命、陶冶人格內涵，然後成為人格健全美滿的人－自內有文化涵養與人格修養、外有周濟天下的一種與道、與天地同大的人格境界狀態，也就是「聖人」。 本文說明「聖人」之內涵，可以由老子之「道」、「無」與「有」之「玄德」、「自然」等概念來理解。而且，聖人體無，空虛其德，無為無不為，能不生而生天地萬物，使被生者存在之在其自己，也就是成為他自己，而非任何人的工具。其工夫就以「致虛守靜」為始而自然呈顯出「守柔不爭」之生命實踐表現，同時呈顯出「無為心境」之境界證成。本文進而申論聖人之工夫境界，讓天地萬物歸根復命，各自脫離妄作而回到了其本真美好。 本文參考當代對老子哲學詮釋的研究方法，以內容真理的角度，透過老子聖人觀，省察校園三個主要角色之可能問題以及如何可以有有道之表現。三個主要角色是：領導角色、教師角色、學生角色。要之，三個主要角色之種種可能問題根源於不能致虛守靜，而種種有道之表現根源於能夠致虛守靜－化除自己身心內外、意識形態等造作，使復歸其自有永有之天真美好的價值，沒身不殆而天長地久。
