Abstract:	金門為戰地前線，烈嶼為前線中的前線，經歷過多次戰爭。早期因應大量駐軍需求，西方社區老街曾經十分繁華熱鬧，駐軍減少後，街道逐漸沒落，人口外移。近年來因為地區社造活動的推動，以及公部門辦理「戰地一條街」活動，使得原本街道逐漸活化起來。　　本研究是以烈嶼鄉西方社區老街為研究對象，透過質性研究，希望能夠更深入瞭解烈嶼鄉西方社區老街的時空背景，找出西方社區老街之在地特色，作為未來活化及轉型的參考建議。本研究之目的是探討西方社區老街的發展概況、西方社區產業活化情形及分析結果，並提供活化及轉型的建議。　　在本次研究當中，發現西方社區為多姓氏聚落，不易融合，需加強居民內部凝聚力。地區產業發展薄弱，可導入青創資源，轉型特色商圈。房舍老舊，應突破限制，進行空間改造，活化再利用。　　Kinmen is the front line of the battlefield, and Lieyu is the front line of the front line, and has experienced many wars. In the early days, in response to a large number of garrisoned troops, the old streets in Xifang Community used to be very busy and lively. After the garrison was reduced, the streets gradually declined and the population moved out. In recent years, due to the promotion of community-based activities in the region and the public sector's “battlefield street” activities, the original streets have gradually been revitalized.　　This research is based on the old street in the Xifang Community of Lieyu Township. Through qualitative research, we hope to have a deeper understanding of the time and space background of the old street in the Xifang Community in Lieyu Township, and find out the local characteristics of the old street in the Xifang Community for future revitalization. And suggestions for transformation. The purpose of this research is to explore the development of old streets in Xifang Community, the industrial activation situation and analysis results of Xifang Community, and provide suggestions for activation and transformation.　　In this study, it was found that Xifang Community are multi-surname settlements, which are not easy to integrate, and it is necessary to strengthen the cohesion of residents. The region's industrial development is weak, and youth innovation resources can be imported to transform a characteristic business district. The old houses should break through the restrictions, renovate the space, and revitalize and reuse them.
