本文主要探討《南華大學創校25週年紀念特刊》從無到有的編輯過程,運用「檔案研究法」及「比較研究法」,針對所收集的文件及資料進行分析,並從資料蒐集、彙整編輯、構思主題及架構、撰寫文稿、版面規劃、美編設計到送廠印刷等編輯程序進行分析,以探究其刊物的價值與美學。 依上述分析結果發現,本特刊從外觀材質、內容特色及平面視覺設計上,不僅能突顯其特殊性與意義,亦蘊含美學的和諧感與生命力,並且能獲得校刊閱讀對象的喜愛,使其在視覺與觸覺上都能為之驚艷外,在心理層面更能獲得美的感知。也因此而擴大校刊的目標對象與流傳性,不但有助於南華大學校譽的提升,達到行銷南華的宣傳效益,更能突顯《南華大學創校25週年紀念特刊》之價值性。 This study investigated the editorial process of “Commemorative Publication for the 25th Anniversary of Nanhua University” by using the mixed methods, archival research method and comparative research method to analyze the documents and data. Moreover, in order to reveal the value and aesthetics of this publication, the researcher proceeded the analysis of data collection, editing, constructing the topic and the framework, drafting and editing the contexts, and designing and printing. The findings showed that this publication not only demonstrated its prominence and meaning from the material, content and visual design but also presented the aesthetics of harmony and vitality. Furthermore, it was significantly favored by the readers who were amazed by its visual design and touch, and further leveled up their sense and understanding of beauty. Hence, by embracing more target readers and increasing its popularity, the reputation of Nanhua University has been elevated, the efficiency of promoting Nanhua University has been achieved, and the value of “Commemorative Publication for the 25th Anniversary of Nanhua University” has been magnified.
