Through participatory design, literature review, and community observation, this study examines the reconstruction and transformation process of the tea industry in the Taihe community after the devastation of the typhoon in August 2009, and the qualitative changes brought about by the introduction of external resources to the community. The author focuses on the emergence of the “tea house” tea-tasting space and the related benefits and business models derived from it, driven by the cultural context of the tea industry. The author also observes the changes in the residents' awareness of space and environment after the spatial professionals have disturbed the community with the teahouse space, which in turn promotes the transformation of the tea industry. The formation of community teahouse space is divided into three models according to the different construction methods and business models, namely, self-operated modeling, collaborative modeling, and outsourced modeling. In the process of inventorying the types of community tea houses, we found that community residents not only need to participate in the promotion of tea house culture but also need to review the subsequent operation and marketing issues after the construction of tea houses is completed. While reviewing the community transformation dilemma, the cultural benefits of tea houses continue to spread, and therefore more and more business models are being integrated with tea houses, such as the planning of camping areas, B&Bs, and tea restaurants. This study takes stock of the community's unique teahouses and their future potential as a vision for future community development and as a resource for planning tourism tours.
